Elliot Royce - Founder & Director

With over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership, governance and transformation, Elliot brings a rare blend of commercial acumen, strategic insight, and people capability.

Elliot has sat on and advised multiple companies across technical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, marketing, travel, and health sectors, helping businesses align strategy, people, and performance. As an Independent Advisory Board Chair and Director, he focuses on strengthening decision-making, leadership capability, and commercial structure to achieve sustainable results.

Before founding Beyond Potential, Elliot held executive and senior leadership roles for global firms including Jacobs Engineering and McConnell Dowell. He led large-scale transformations following multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, designed governance and leadership frameworks, and built award-winning cultures recognised for wellbeing and performance outcomes. His work has spanned projects such as the Waterview Tunnel, Te Mihi Power Station, and the Eastern Busway; collectively representing more than NZD $7 billion in infrastructure investment.

Elliot combines real-world business experience with a practical, human approach. Having founded and grown The Urban Physio into a leading Auckland clinic, he understands the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners firsthand. This balance of founder empathy and executive experience shapes the pragmatic, commercially grounded style of his advisory work.

Elliot holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Auckland. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors New Zealand, a Human Synergistics and MBTI-accredited practitioner, and an active member of the Auckland Business Chamber.
